Born on the south shore of Boston, Fresh Perspective was started by brothers Derek and Tyler Leadbetter during the summer of 2016. The idea was to put together a sound composed of chill vibes, catchy lyrics, and a little bit of that punk/ska energy they grew up loving. The sound really started to come together with the addition of long time friend and musician Jimmy MacDonald. Since late 2017, the trio has been playing venues around Boston and the south shore, captivating audiences, and gaining regional recognition with music that everyone can enjoy.
